New Agricultural Planting Technology: Hydroponic Cultivation

Ⅰ. What is a hydroponic grow system

Hydroponic grow system, also known as soilless culture, uses a nutrient solution containing essential elements for plant growth and development to provide nutrients, and the nutrient solution dissolves the minerals required for vegetable growth, so that plants can normally complete the entire life cycle of the cultivation technology.

Soilless cultivation requires a cultivation pot composed of a liquid storage pot and a planting piece, and the planting piece is used for accommodating and supporting the planted plants. The root system of the plant is suspended in the culture solution, and during the growth process of the plant, the nutrient solution required for the growth of the plant is continuously added to the culture solution. It includes hydroponics, aeroponics and substrate cultivation.

Hydroponics: direct contact between plant roots and nutrient solution without substrate.

Aeroponics: The nutrient solution is compressed into an aerosol and sprayed directly on the roots of the crops.

Substrate cultivation: The roots of crops are fixed in organic or inorganic substrates, and nutrients are provided to crops through drip irrigation.

The hydroponic system can generally grow vegetables, flowers, fruits, tobacco leaves and other crops.

Ⅱ. What are the cultivation methods of the hydroponic grow system?

1. Pipeline cultivation

Its production equipment is quite advanced, and the nutrient solution is in the pipeline. During production management, the time and frequency of nutrient solution supply can be adjusted, and the growth state of vegetables can be monitored around the clock.

2. Wall cultivation

Wall cultivation is a cultivation method in which the wall is combined with a PVC pipe, and a substrate is placed in the PVC pipe for crop growth. In the soilless cultivation project, this cultivation method can be used as a partition wall, and also has the function of beautifying the wall.

3. Column cultivation

Column cultivation is to install a plurality of cultivation grooves similar to flowerpots on the column, and put the substrate into it for cultivation. Most of the column-type cultivation of hydroponic grow system plant pollution-free strawberries. The strawberries are distributed around the cultivation tank after they bear fruit. They are very cute and easy to pick and can be eaten directly.

4. A-frame cultivation

The A-frame cultivation structure is distributed in an A-shape, which is conducive to the lighting of crops and greatly facilitates the daily operation of the staff. The A-frame cultivation structure is flexible and can be reasonably matched according to different needs. Because of the simple and clean operation of A-frame cultivation, it has become the new favorite of balcony agriculture and roof agriculture. Vegetables suitable for A-frame cultivation include lettuce, rapeseed, rapeseed, strawberry, fungus, coriander, etc.

5. Aerosol cultivation

Aerosol cultivation is a new cultivation mode in which water mixed with nutrient solution is sprayed directly onto the roots of crops after high-pressure atomization. The root system of the crop is directly suspended inside the space of the cultivation container, and the conditions required for growth are met by the exposure of the roots to the aerosol. The advantages of aerosol cultivation are that it is pollution-free, high in technology, and can be eaten directly, which is very practical and ornamental.

6. Aerial cultivation

Aerial cultivation is the use of deep liquid cultivation mode to transform agricultural products from traditional cultivation to hydroponic cultivation. The aquatic root system provides sufficient water and fertilizer for the plant, and the adventitious roots produced by the vines become storage roots, realizing the division of labor and cooperation of the root system, one planting and many years of harvesting. This new cultivation method has very high ornamental value and scientific research value.

7. Sand cultivation

Sand cultivation is a cultivation method that imitates the desert environment. The plants grown in the desert are artificially transplanted into the greenhouse, and the modern agricultural planting technology is used to imitate the arid and high temperature environment of the desert, so that people who have not been to the desert can make it easier. These new and exotic plants can also be seen in the greenhouse.

8. Aquaponics

Aquaponics is a new type of compound farming system, which combines aquaculture and hydroponics, two completely different farming techniques. It achieves scientific synergistic symbiosis through ingenious ecological design, so as to realize soilless cultivation techniques such as ecological symbiosis effect of growing vegetables without fertilizing and growing normally without changing water without water quality.
