Due to there being so many variants of Godfather OG, there is very little precise growing information available about the strain. One can only assume how Godfather OG grows based on its genetics and lineage, but even the lineage is in question.
Since growers aren't able to tell or verify which variant they are growing, we can assume it grows like most Kush strains, which will have a medium-short height, and grow wider than tall. It will most likely be semi difficult to grow, since most OG strains can be finicky with their preferred nutrition, and environmental conditons.
Characteristics
Godfather OG typically produces very dense, round, and bulbous flowers that stand out with their bright green color and hints of purple around the leaves and flower tips. This color contrasts well against the bright orange bud hairs, especially when paired with the strain’s frosty coating of resinous trichomes. This sticky layer of trichomes not only adds to the visual appeal but also hints at the strain’s potency.

A past winner of the High Times Cannabi Cup for Best Indica Strain, Godfather OG has a historical background that leads many other breeders to develop their own "Don of OG's". The "original" Godfather OG is said to be a cross of XXX OG and Alpha OG, making it very popular in Southern California.
However, due to its rapid rise in popularity, other breeders followed in suite and developed 2 other cultivars that with the same name: one a cross of LA Confidential, Bubba Kush, and GrandDaddy Purple, the other being a cross of GrandDaddy Purple and OG Kush. Unfortunately, because the strain is so widespread, there is no way of telling which is which.
