Another rendition of the Gelato line, and probably the most well known and sought after, Gelato #41 —also known as "Bacio Gelato"—is a multi-time award winner. It has won many different awards, in many different classes, and even in different countries.
G41 strain is loved by so many for its lovely dessert flavors, potent indica effects, and its eye-catching beauty! In this review, we'll give you the inside "scoop" on everything Gelato #41.
Growing Tips
Gelato #41 weed strain isn't the easiest strain to grow, so it's best to make sure you have not only a green thumb, but a few other fingers as well! You can thank its parental lineage for that. Gelato #41 can be finicky, and does well in a specific set of conditions.
It prefers a warmer, more humid environment with plenty airflow and light. For this reason, G41 strain does better indoors than outdoors. The plants grow compact and bushy, so space shouldn't be of a concern. If you plan on growing in soil, it's better to start your plant in a larger pot to avoid the need for transplanting, as this strain doesn't handle the transplant process well. Gelato #41 is a moderate yielder, but is very responsive to training techniques, which can help increase yield potential!

Characteristics
Gelato 41 strain is known for its incredible ice cream-like flavor. With notes of sweet-creamy vanilla, grape, and berries, it's hard to deny the strains namesake. It also has plenty of bag appeal, with dark purple buds and nearly black leaves that make the orange hairs on the buds pop! The heavy coating of trichomes makes the buds have a glistening appearance, like purple mountains covered in snow!
Origin & Use

Origin of Gelato #41 Strain
Hailing from the bay area, Sherbinski of the Cookie Fam found a banger with Gelato #41! It quickly became one of the world's most popular strains when released in 2010. Unlike most strains that first gain traction in a specific region—like OG Kush did in SoCal—Gelato 41 strain is a worldwide success, winning awards across the globe! This strain was part of the original Gelato, and was bred by crossing Sunset Sherbet X Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, both which attribute to its dessert-like flavor and aromas.
