abby connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. If you are trying to connect abby to your Wi-Fi and do not see your network, make sure your 2.4 GHz network is set up first. If you have a dual band router, do not attempt to connect to the “ Name_5G”. We recommend keeping abby within range of your wireless router for the best connection.
The Nutrient Packets Won't Drop
When dispensing the nutrient packets, do you hear the panels move?
If you do hear a drop sound, make sure to keep the panel dry. We also recommend handling the packets with dry hands.
If you don't hear any sound, gently remove the tank cover and click it back into place. This will help prevent the cover from pressing down the panel.
Light
Growing Light
The lighting period is determined by the abby planting system, which follows a specific algorithm according to the growth cycle of the plant.
You don't need to worry about the difference in Color Temperature of the light. The colour temperature of the Samsung LED we use has a tolerance range of 4000K to 5000K. It is normal for the two units to have a significant color difference, and will not affect your plant growth.
Status Light
What does the color of the status light mean?
High Temperature & Low humidity issue
Please ensure that the ambient temperature is between 70 and 85 ℉ while the humidity is between 50~70%.
Place abby 3 inches away from the wall to allow for proper ventilation. This placement will prevent the device from overheating.
If the chamber is too hot or the humidity levels are too low, try placing a bowl of ice cubes inside the grow box and spray some water on the leaves. This should help improve your environment.
Planting Issues
Add 3 ml of 12% food-grade hydrogen peroxide into the water reservoir. We recommend using a pipette for accuracy.
This is not unusual; clones need to adapt to their nutrients in the first week of transplantation. Their appearance should improve after about a week.
