Troubleshooting Guide | Door Won't Close

It's important to keep the door of your Hey abby grow box closed. When left open, it can disrupt the internal environment necessary for optimal plant growth. This can negatively impact the growth and yield of your cannabis plants. 

If you found your door won't stay closed, follow this guide to fix the issue.

Method 1

• Power off your device, remove the 8 screws, and remove the rear vent panel;

In rare cases, you may notice that the temperature and humidity readings in your Hey abby device display "0"

• Unplug the terminal connector marked by the arrow in the image below. There's a tab that needs to be pinched before pulling it out of the connector. Then, simply re-plug it again.

• After securing the panel, power the device back on and check the door lock to see if it closes properly.

Method 2

• Loosen the 3 screws securing the door lock with a Phillips screwdriver.

• Follow the method shown in the video to gently nudge the door lock outward. Then tighten the screws.

• Check the door lock to see if it closes properly.
